Northwest Florida is the only one of the four Auxelerate regions that spans two time zones. Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington counties observe Central Time; Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, and Wakulla counties, along with part of Gulf County, observe Eastern Time.
